Narrative: Bullying Scenario 3, Scene 1

Rosie was recently named captain of the school volleyball team. A teammate, Emily, is jealous that Rosie got captain over her. Emily feels that she deserves it more because she is more popular and prettier than Rosie.

Emily confronts Rosie in the locker room after practice one day and they get into an argument. The argument ends with both girls angry with each other, but Rosie shrugs it off and hopes that Emily will calm down.

Rosie goes home to check her social network page and notices Emily had posted hateful comments and rumors about Rosie becoming the captain.

What should Rosie do?

Decision A

Rosie tells her mom about the online comments. She cancels her social network page.

Decision B

Rosie ignores the comments. She figures there's nothing she can do about it and figures that Emily got her nastiness out of her system and will let it go.
