CCS district’s policies are for bullying/threatening another student is a Class II Violation.  Punishment can range from 10 day suspension from school to 45-365 day long term suspension at alternative school. Legally, Alexis could be charged with Bullying N.C.G.S. §115C-407.5 (This statute does not list a punishment, however, N.C.G.S. §14-3(a) makes misdemeanors without listed punishments a Class 1 misdemeanor, punishable by 1 – 120 days in jail).
